American Resource Staffing Quickly Rebounds from Bedford Fire (9-22-06)
Bedford, NH - Thursday at approximately 3:00 pm a four alarm fire engulfed the American Resource Staffing (ARS) headquarters located in Bedford. Everyone was able to escape the building safely and there were no injuries. The fire, which started in the attic of the building, continued to burn for hours as smoke filled the night sky. “We are grateful that no one got hurt and for the tireless efforts of the firefighters,” remarks Richard Purtell, President of ARS.
With numerous locations throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts, ARS has temporarily setup up their headquarters out of their Nashua location. “This will not affect our business and we will be fully operational by early next week,” Purtell confidently states.
“This fire will not impact the launch of the Armed Forces Connection (AFC)” commented Shelby Russell, Executive Director of AFC. AFC is a new service that American Resource Staffing is launching that will help service members transition from military service to civilian employment. AFC is scheduled to debut November 7th in Las Vegas with events planned in late November in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
